Joyce Keller is a writer, photographer and interviewer whose work appears in national magazines and metropolitan newspapers. She is an Olympian gold medalist, and is also the author of Moving in Place.

Her work today specializes in travel, but her interests range far and wide. Before turning to travel literature and memoir, Keller spent a year working for CNET, an online tech-news site, before embarking on a freelance career in 1998. Keller lives with her husband in Sonoma County, and spends her free time cycling, river rafting, and paddle-boarding in the San Francisco Bay.
